This large garden is an going maintenance project started in Autumn 2020. The client is a keen gardener, but wanted to simplify some of the planting and update the overgrown borders. New Perennials,, Shrubs and Spring bulbs have been added to provide year round interest and colour. Check back againin Spring for updates as the borders come to life
This client contacted us when they became fed up with their Lockdown office view. A large trampoline was no longer required and the space created gave an opportunity to create a new border beneath the walled border in the picture. Spring bulbs, Perennials and Shrubs were chosen to tolerate the shade created by a large Lime tree. in a neighbouring garden. Check back in Spring to see the progress of both this border and the rest of the garden planted in Autumn 2020
The owners of this former farm house on the edge of the Champagne region wanted to have a colourful garden to entertain in and enjoy their evening Apero, but were struggling to achieve this in the hot and sunny climate. Especially as this is their second home. We took inspiration from Beth Chatto's gravel garden and created vibrant borders that are both tolerant of the climate and low maintenance.
The client is a keen gardener, but was fed up with what was an uninspiring space. The garden was designed on a 45 degree angle with steps up to a seating area. A light coloured stone, (Mint Sandstone) was chosen to lighten the North East facing aspect.

The client was very fed up with looking out on a sloping and mostly paved garden. We created a design providing both a large level playing space for the clents family, together with areas to sit and enjoy the newly landscaped garden. Urban Grey Porcelain refelcts the contemporary feeling with two newly constructed levels. Planting is exotic, but hardy reflecting both the existing Yucca tree and South African heritage of the owner. Built by Diversity Landscapes.
Before and after. The clients were installing a new kitchen with French doors. to the garden. They wanted to update the garden and to provide an attractive view from the new doorway. We designed a large Sandstone Terrace providing space for a dining table and BBQ for relaxing and entertaining. Steps up to a newly laid lawn with wider borders are ready for planting, together with an upper area to place a new garden shed, with an additional seating area to enjoy the evening sunshine.
